What is the difference between the Performance Classes, Workshops, POP UP Classes and Camps?

Is my dancer too old to start dancing and what class should I take?
No! Dancers of all ages and levels are welcome in our dance studio. Our programs are currently broken down by grade level and age, however as the studio grows, we will add more levels. We have trained dancers from ages 1 year old through high school and have also had dancers take their first class at 13, 16, 30 or even 60 years old. Don't let anything or anyone stop you from giving it a try.
To figure out what to take, first look for the classes in your age range then pick the dance style. If you need examples, there are plenty out there on YouTube and other popular social media platforms.
Why is my dancer in the same level again?
Our program is designed for your dancer to learn and grow at a healthy pace. Our curriculum is designed to be engaging, positive, and age appropriate. It is common and recommended for a dancer to stay in a level for 2-3 years before moving on to a more difficult class at MWDR. We take placement seriously so every dancer is getting the optimal experience. You will watch your dancers' skills develop through each level and they will be making friendships, learning healthy dance techniques, and developing the skills to progress their training to an advanced level.
What happens if I am on a wait list?
If a class is full we will offer the opportunity to join a wait list. If there are enough dancers on the wait list we will consider opening a new class. Dancers on a wait list will be given the opportunity to join the class in the order they added to the wait list.
Do you compete or have a competitive team?
No. We are a professional dance school and offer quality classes to our dancers with two performance opportunities each season the Nutcracker and May Recital. We encourage our dancers to find their own personal passion for dance and support their journey through a nurturing and challenging environment.

Does my toddler need to be potty trained to take Discover Dance?
Yes, we ask that dancers participating in our Discover Dance classes be potty trained, able to take class independently and 3 years old. Dancers who are not should start with Dance with me. This will give them the opportunity to start dance and begin to gain independence.
Do you offer a drop in class rate?
Drop-in Classes are available for our Workshop Classes
Prices range between $15.00 - $25.00
No walk ups are allowed.
